For 80+ years, ISC Gums has led the way in the formulation, development and supply of gum acacia. Their product is used in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and industrial industries. To stay competitive, they needed a modern website refresh.

Project Goals
The goal of this project was to create a new website that makes acacia’s many benefits and use cases clear, with a focus on the food and beverage industries, and complement it with a white paper designed to educate and engage potential customers. I utilized elements from both to refresh the brand look and feel without the need for a logo redesign.

Website Design
This project allowed for creative freedom with the design elements – I just had to keep the logo and its navy blue color. With competitors using brighter shades of green, red, and blue, I used a more muted palette with purple, gold, and green to help ISC Gums stand out. The new design features large banner images that immediately showcase gum acacia’s versatility in food and beverage applications. As users scroll, they discover additional use cases and key benefits. White Paper
The white paper is a 12-page PDF document that focuses on acacia as a source of dietary fiber. Since it’s made for digital use, some elements are interactive – table of contents, links to external websites, etc. ISC Gums’ products are not sold directly on the website, but a page on the product line is available in this document along with contact info.

Social
I create several social posts monthly for ISC Gums’ LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. After the new website was launched, I changed the style of the posts to match.
